Hi, is there currently any plan for a relationship between HR and Accounts? For example, automatically updating salary payments as expenses in Accounts after salary slips are generated or something similar.

Currently there is no such feature to book expenses automatically for salary. You have to create a Journal Voucher manually. I have created a github issue for this (https://github.com/webnotes/erpnext/issues/805)
