Is it possible to produce a quote to a “dummy customer”. In other words, produce a quote without setting the customer up? Could you maybe have a “Dummy customer” which you can only quote to (not sell to) and you can change the name, address, currency etc during the quote?
You can’t as such save a dummy quote but you can create a Quotation with dummy info as a customer and then change this each time to suit.
Using Leads means that you need less info to define a customer so this may also be a way forward
Thanks for the reply. Can you create a customer quote from a lead? I can’t see how to do this.
Trying to change the “dummy” customer’s details during the quote seams to result in a new customer which is what I’m trying to avoid.
