Question: How to limit options only to downline departments

I’m modifying the job opening form. In the department field, I want to limit the options only to a subtree of the department tree. Is this possible?

is the said field a link field ? if yes, have you tried filtering it?

can you share details of the said department list? is there a parent field in the child ? if yes, use that as filter condition
