Purchase order dropship bug?

If I was to create a sales order for an item that has dropship option selected in the item master, I can unselect the dropship option. This allows me to deliver from my own warehouse. This is good.

But if I create a purchase order for that same item, I am not able to unselect the dropship option. Thus I cannot purchase any of the product to my own warehouse.

All set to dropship, but create PO doesnt work on SO. Should I open a github issue?
