Projects not linking with GL via Journal Entry form

Hi,
I am trying to associate a journal entry with a project, in payment entry form its saving project but its not saving in GL.

I have verified from database, its not showing there as well.

Same issue V12 Cost Center is assigned but no Project on GL Entry

Not happening on Purchase Invoice as well or Purchase Receipt as well

No replys on this issue I just did an update to lastest release

Installed Apps

ERPNext: v12.4.2 (version-12)

Frappe Framework: v12.2.1 (version-12)
Still same issue.

I have reported that long time ago, project seem to be not linked to Balance Sheet accounts…it behave same as cost center (only attached to PL accounts).

In purchase Invoice, it will make GL entry only when update stock is ticked. So, make sure about it.

Any update to this? It’s a year later and I’m having the same issue.
