Project tracking

I am trying to track the profit and lost of projects. I have seen the document on the web side saying this is possible. I have checked the form fields of Sales Order (and Sales Invoice) and found the link to the project form. However, it is not showing on screen when I and generating a new Sales Order. And I can not find the link to Project (by checking the Customize Form) in Purchase Order, Purchase Invoice.

May be you are not clicking on “View Details” button.

And also how the the purchase order and purchase receipt table?

Any progress on this topic? I am interested in tracking project P&L’s too?

Best way to track a project’s P&L is by creating its own cost center and booking all invoices / expenses against that cost center.
