POS not getting correct tax template for item and item group

Hi dears,

1- tax of cake not calculated if there is tax template in group item
2- when tax at item level applied while Potato Buns tax free its applied tax on both items
3- i have used valid from and not working also.

please share any good practise.

ERPNext: v12.17.0 (version-12)

Frappe Framework: v12.14.0 (version-12)

Have you specified Taxes and Charges in POS Profile?

this to apply tax on all items and still its calculating tax on all items.
what i am trying to do are :
one item with tax
second item without tax

total should be : 7.000*1.05 + 0.500 = 7.85 not 7.875

You have not setup the items correctly.
You need to follow the standards taxation concept in each item.

You will have to setup your Items for proper Taxation, use Item Tax Template to define the taxes, for items you don’t want to fetch the taxes, keep it empty.
