Perm Level for Assigning Tasks

We're trying to adopt the Assign Tasks option in ERPNext. Some users are giving feedback that the only user they see when assigning tasks is themselves.  What permission needs to be given to allow this?

Laurence,

Please try reset permission of Profile master. You will have Role "All" assigned permission in two rows.

All - Read & Write - Owner
All - Read - All Users

With these permission rule in place, user will be able to select and assign task to other users.
