Part Conversion from one to another

I am looking for the best way to handle a stock conversion. We on occasion convert from one part to another part. Mostly its a different firmware on the hardware so we’ll convert from part A to part B. How can I handle this in ERPNext. I was looking at the Stock Entry, but it looks like you can only transfer the same items. I also thought of Stock Reconcilliation but you can’t have a negative number to show the reduction of the part.

Any help is appreciated.
