Open Communications for RFQ

I’ve noticed that every time we send an RFQ through the ERP system, a Communication gets opened.

I’m not sure the value of doing this, as there isn’t any way for the supplier to close the communication and it needs to be done manually. It seems that purchase orders have a “Linked” status, which doesn’t leave them open and clogging the task count.

Thoughts?

Hi,

Have you set Default as Open for Staus? Please check customize form for document type ‘Communication’.

No, the default is not set.

It is due to the way RFQ emails are sent. I have created a pull request
