Only Leave Applications with status 'Approved' and 'Rejected' can be submitted

Hello all,

I get this error message whenever I try to submit a Leave application:

"Only Leave Applications with status ‘Approved’ and ‘Rejected’ can be submitted”

I previously implemented a Leave workflow but later deleted it.

However this error still keeps on showing.

Please assist.

did you change status to ‘Approve’ or ‘Rejected’?

Which version of ERPNext are you using. In the latest one Workflow is there, so htat employee can make application as open status and later one who have Leave Approver Role can Approve & Rejected.

I’m having the same issue

ERPNext: v13.18.0 (version-13)
Frappe Framework: v13.18.0 (version-13)

Test Employee has created a Leave Application. When I log in to the account that is the Leave Approver for Test Employee, I get a “Submit” button, and no option to “Approve” or “Reject”. When I try to “Submit”, I get the same error as the OP above.

@j.aiw the status field beside leave approver has Approved and Reject.

You need to set Approved or Rejected in order to submit.
