Is there a way to just set up notifications based on certain events. I understand the workflow feature where you have different states and approval steps.
But, I would like to know if we can set up only notifications based on certain events. For e.g., everytime a sales order is amended, and submitted new, I would like just a notification to be sent to certain users that this particular sales order has been amended. Please note that this is just a notification, we do not want any approvals or actions to be taken by the user. How do we go about doing this.
