Non-Local MySQL/MariaDB Database Server Instance

Dear All,
First of all, thank you very much for this great piece of software.
I have been trying to install ERPNext via Frappe using a non-local MySQL/MariaDB database server, but fail to see where I can enter the appropriate database login credentials and connection details. It seems that Frappe/ERPNext is hard-coded to use a local MySQL/MariaDB socket.
Is there, other than using socat, a clean way around it by modifying some configuration file in the setup?
Thanks a lot for letting me know.
Bests,
Chris

Chris,

Sorry thats not intuitive at the moment, we will fix it soon.

Once you create a site, add "db_host" as your remote host in `site_config.json` in your site folder and run --reinstall
