Naming Series Rest to 1

Hi All,

The naming series has auto reset to 1 for employees. i was using custom naming series .abbr-E- since many months but suddenly now it has reset to 1 and does not allow saving a new employee created giving an error that employee with this .abbr-E-00001 already exists. I tried using the current value tool within naming series but that doesnt work and i get same error. Any solution please?

Go to Naming Series doctype and reset the series to 0

That is already the problem … its already creating series from 1 which is wrong. I needed it to continue the series which had already reached 13.

Probably you’re using the same abbreviation, if that mean abbr.
