try to install mysql manually.
use following command
sudo apt-get install mariadb-server mariadb-common libmariadbclient-dev
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y software-properties-common python-software-properties
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 0xcbcb082a1bb943db
sudo add-apt-repository “deb http://ams2.mirrors.digitalocean.com/mariadb/repo/10.0/ubuntu $OS_VER main”

I have a centos 7

I’m having the same problem, also on CentOS 7.

I tried this a dozen different ways. Each time I solved one error, including this one, I got a new error. I finally gave up and moved to Ubuntu.
