Multiple UOM for Sales Item

I’m trying to set multiple UOM for a sale item - but system doesnt allow. Is there a reason why A sales Item doesnt have multiple UOMs, but Purchase items have? (I’m on V6)

According to @rmehta, UOM Improvements are on the ToDo list, but it’s a low priority.
