Means, is it a feature request as - popup for new message? Or you are unable to see the new message?
We can read the message, there are notification counter on top-right. But in the manual, user should get popup message too when received new message from other user…
Was the popup removed already?

Notifications are a minimalist version of the popup (In a way). However, there was no any such traditional popup earlier also as I associated with ERPNext since Ver 3.
