Material Issue and Material Receipt, and Material Transfer

Can anybody tell me the difference between:
Material Issue and Material Receipt, if everything is to be done by Material Transfer

And if we do material issue then where to track the issued material
similarly, if we do material receipt then from where the material will come if there is no default source and target store

Hi,
Material Issue :- when you remove respective item from your warehouse then material issue
will get select.
So in stock entry when you select purpose as “Material Issue” then
you should select only “Source warehouse”.
Material Receipt:- when you store respective item in your own ware house then “Material Receipt”
will get select.
so in stock entry when you select purpose as “Material Receipt” then
you should select only “Target warehouse”.
Material Transfer:- when you moving item from one warehouse to another warehouse then
“Material Transfer” purpose get select .

For Example:-
1.Suppose Source warehouse ‘A’ and Target warehouse ‘B’
and if you want to move your goods from warehouse A to B then
you select Material Transfer.
‘A’ warehouse is located in Pune and ‘B’ warehouse located in Bombay
then you can transfer goods.
2.If you want received stock without “Purchase order” and Purchase Receipt"
use “Material Receipt”
3.Suppose Item= CD with qty=20 ,if you want 10 qty for internal purpose then you can
use “Material Issue”.(Means these 10 qty get removed from your warehouse)

Hi,
A follow up on previous post.

Now to transfer to goods from Pune to Bombay, you have to pay let’s say 1000 Currency unit. And this has now to be accounted as the new valuation rate of the products…
How can we account for these additional charges into the valuation of the items when doing stock entry?

Thanks.
