Material Issue and Employees


I’m deciding what is best way to manage the use of fixed assets by specific employees. Is it better to make a warehouse for each employee and depreciate it every month? This seems a bit tedious but more exact.

Or is it better to use the material issue feature? If fixed assets are issued then I’m assuming they no longer appear in the warehouse from which they came or anywhere else in stock, so how could we depreciate them?

What is the simplest way to keep track of and depreciate fixed assets issued to employees? For example, laptops.


A custom form for each asset may be a good idea.

What if, in the same way you can assign a document to someone, you could assign an item to someone as well but without affecting the warehouse?
