Greetings! I’m trying to figure out if there is a way in which ERPNext can be used for production scheduling. I’m aware of the production plan feature but ERPNext only queues a work order against a workstation selected by a user, for the next available slot.
But what I’m looking for is a way for the user to best determine which workstation to select to optimise the manufacturing time across workstations. I’m working with a setup that has several workstations performing the same operation, so the user would need something like a Gantt chart to see which workstations are busy and till when, in order to make the best choice in terms of workstation selection and splitting a work order into smaller batches to make the best use of free slots.
Anybody have any experience with this? Would really appreciate any pointers towards this.
