I have updated my Asset form to include the Employee ID and Name fields.

When I create a new Asset record, ERP will automatically populate the Employee field with the person creating the record. Is there a way to stop this behavior? Also when I remove my employee ID from the particular field, my name stays put in the name field. Any ideas on how to remove this?

You would have to use custom Javascript. You can refer to the documentation for examples

Bummer. I don’t know JavaScript and I am not a real programmer type. Guess I’ll just pull the name field for now.

How can we get this as a feature in the platform so this becomes more of a configuration thing in the customize form area and not custom scripting?
