Last update bugs

Hello u guys,

I just updated frappe usging scripts/update and things got messed up:

1) Using safari(mac) login page keeps reloading indefinitely.
2) Apps I create, dont show up on the desk as icons, but are listed as installed. (Doctypes created and roles/users assigned)

This last is just aesthetics and related to my own taste: please take out the annoying shadow down the focused fields (with all due respect: it sucks!) Or make it subtle at least.

Thanx!
M

Hi Marta

Thanks for your feedback. Can you raise a github issue about the 2 UI issues (with screenshot where applicable)?

As an immediate solution to the desktop icon problem, go to your app's config/desktop.py and add this key value pair:
"type": "Module"

After clear cache & refresh, the app icon should be visible.

Regarding page reloads, it happens in Safari. I've fixed this issue though it is pending to be merged. It will be merged today.

Thanks,
Anand.

Hi Anand.

Reloading while in safari is fixed. But somehow after adding "type": "Module" to desktop.py the app wont show up on the desk.
Any suggestion?

Thank you,
M
