Issue with notification email?

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could assist me, currently the email alerts are working fine for calendar or reset password. but when i share a task it shows the box at the bottom that says notify by email but i get not email. But im sure the email alerts works because when i rest password alerts and also i get notified by email by calendar alerts. any ideas?

Which version are you on?

I just tested in version v11.1.29 (master) and it works.

very odd i checked logs did not find no errors. the notify by email would the configuration for the notification on email right?

so after few trials i figured out the option to assign works the email alert but the share option to get the email alert i do not get it so has to be something odd
