Is there a way to disable autocomplete on a form

When using ERPNext we notices that chrome will use autocomplete to complete date fields using a date from the last record that was entered. is there any way to turn off autocomplete?

I would guess that autocomplate is a Chrome feature, hence a Chrome setting to deactivate it… Or use Firefox instead :wink:

If you refer to the case where date fields have a value from the browser cache from the previous time you filled the form (and have to click the date actually twice in the date picker to select it), this is a general browser cache topic…

This issue is reported by our users and it can lead to serious data entry errors sometimes. I tried to dig it but couldn’t find a place to fix it yet.

Did anyone have success in resolving this?
