I have been trying to install ERPNext for the last 24 hours. I found the excellent guide noted here : erpnext_admin_guide | ERPNext Administrators Guide which helped me getting closer to the full installation.
I tried all these OS :
- Ubuntu 14.04
- Ubuntu 16.04
- Debian 8
- CentOS 7
I did apply the workaround for MariaDB for the mysqld.sock as suggested in the linked article.
Most of the time the returned error is “Failed to change ownership of the temporary files Ansible needs to create despite connecting as root. Unprivileged become user would be unable to read the file.” under the TASK [move /tmp/.bench if it exists], while on some occasion, the error was about “missing quotation marks”, if I go by and drop the database, remove de bench folder ans restart the setup.
