Install On Google Compute Engine Failing

Hi
I am trying to install Erpnext on Google Compute Instance . Here is the error I get.

Installing for debian 8 amd64

I installed npm again same result .
Can you please help me … I am a newbie at system admin stuff .

are you using the smallest system? It could be running out of memory as i’ve had that issue.

Another possible problem could be debian 8, not sure if bench supports that, might want to try debian 7

ERPNext is available as a ready made deployment package with Google IaaS

Could you install it on GCE?
