With the new release, we have also made searches in Link fields to honour permission rules.
Hence, once you upgrade, you might start receiving permission errors.
If any of your users receive such error, just go to Setup > Permission Manager and add read permission for that Role.
We regret the inconvenience this will cause. However, this is a step in the right direction.
Thanks,
Anand Doshi.

For sending images, use http://imgur.com or other similar services. Do not send images as attachments. Links are good. Same goes for any file you are going to send.
Already noticed the same and honestly I support this step towards the right direction
I know it might cause some pain to the system managers but I think this is going to be a one time pain for the fruits to reap for future
Great addition....now I hope someday the reports would also honor the permissions

Nabin just clarified with me that we had manually written code to apply permissions selectively in script reports. It doesn't get applied automatically. Have a look at standard script reports to get an idea about how to do it.
Applying permission rules is currently not possible for query reports.
Does this include the Query Report and Script Reports?
If yes, then do I need to write some code to get the reports to follow the rules?
