How to track shipping data?

I would like to know that how to track shipping data like shipping
address, shipped via, docket or LR number etc.

It seems the invoice is basically showing only the Billing Address
whereas we require the shipping address to be shown also we also need
to track all the details. Generally these details are on the Invoice.

Is there a way to track the multiple shipping addresses?

Hello Mr. Aditya,

You can put additional details as mentioned in term and condition of
sales invoice.
Same details will fetched into print format also.

Dear Umair,

Basically my problem arises from a requirement our dealers have thrown
it to us. Basically mine is a EXCISE Registered company. Now I have a
dealer network in India and most of the dealers are not registered
under EXCISE. Now the thing is the Excise Duty charged to dealer can’t
be taken credit of by the dealer’s customers as they are not
registered under excise.

So our dealers ask us that if we could directly send the material to
their customers, so the shipping address is that of the customer. Now
the thing is that as per law if we send the material to person B so he
is entitled for MODVAT claim on the excise charged by us and therefore
his excise details needs to be saved along with the address.

Now what I have seen is that there is a provision in Delivery Note to
enter the shipping address, but the problem is that if a dealer is
asking us to ship material to say like 5 addresses with 5 different
excise details then we would need to ask for those addresses and
excise details all the time. I would like to know if it is possible to
save the 5 different shipping addresses along with dealer’s billing
address and then whenever he asks us to deliver material to his
customer X then we select the shipping address of customer X in our DB
and it shows up along with other tax details on the invoice.

I hope I have come up good with an explanation to a somewhat
complicated issue.
