Hello. I have a question about stock management. Some products in the warehouse are consumables. For example; gloves, masks, etc. for the worker. After I deliver these materials, I need to stock out and see it on stock ledger. How can I manage that?
You can either do it in the Sales Invoice and tick Update Stock. When you submit the invoice. The stock goes out.
Other way is not to check update stock in SI. Once you submit SI. You can create delivery note against the SI. This way also the stock gets updated.
Simple and straight option is do the stock entry with type “Material Issue”. In the product line select the appropriate expense account where you want to book the expense for this consumables.
This way your stock will reduce and expense will booked in P& L. You can get the stock Ledger also.
