How to set communication user role permissions

Hi Guys,
I just added as system user with employee and accounts user roles. However the user can’t read or see emails he has sent in his mailbox. He can send emails though! How do I configure his roles so that system user can read, send and view his emails?

Kindly check in Role Permissions Manager for doctype “Communications”. Check if read access is given tot he user. Also check if any restrictions are set on the user in User permissions.

I followed the steps above and I can’t seem to get it right. I have given user role permissions to accounts user and employee. Sent and received emails won’t show. Can you please help?
