How to Reset some fields when a doctype is duplicated by the user?

Good afternoon comunity!! Greetings from Mexico :smile:

Before anything, I want to Thank to ERPNext Creators, for such great and useful project! Congratulations!

Question:
i have customized form: Projects, added some custom fields, the question is: how can i reset some fields when a user duplicates a project (selects Menu → Duplicate), i want to reset the value of certain fields before the duplicated project is displayed to the user.

How can i do that?

You can use the “refresh” method to remove the value of a docfield via JS, checking if the doc is saved or not…

Check “No Copy” in the Custom Field form.
