How to Print Colors in Print Format

Hi,
I have defined few colors in my print format, but when I print it using PDF of Direct Print no color is there.
Any idea, how can we achieve this?

had the same issue with colors inside letter head at print. this css fixed it for me:
<span style="color: #f00 !important;"> Hello World!</span>
