How to manage perishable goods in erpNext

I am trying to use erpNext for my hotel , I wish to know about how do we manage perishable goods in it. urgent help requested. thanks

Hello,

You should maintain Batch inventory for the perishable items. In the Batch master, you can also set expiry date. Once expiry date is exceed for the batch, you will not be able to use this item for delivery.

You should create a Stock Entry to stock-out expired items. Please create a Github Issue to suggest exclusion of expired batch items from the available stock.
