HOW TO CREATE ONE ITEM ( For example; Sugar) TO SHOW FOR MULTIPLE COMPANIES

I try creating one particular item for two different companies under ITEMS but the system is telling me that the item already exists (because I have created it already for the first company). How do I go about making it show for the two companies separately since I am not able to create it twice?

I will be grateful if I can get a quick response. Thank you all

Hi emmakezie,

Yes, item master, supplier master and customer masters are shared resources. You probably have some filter because of which you are not able to see the item. Maybe the item is disabled.

Are you able to pull the item into a transaction? Like a Sales Order or a Purchase order?
