How to Change/Select database(like Tally Data Directory) in ERPNext?

Hi All,

As we know in Tally we can choose data directory or we can change the data directory before doing any entries. How we can do this in ERPNext?.

ERPNext stores data in a database server (MariaDB) so there is no setting like data-directory

Let me clarify my question.
Say we have two datasources DB1(Database stored on a machine),DB2(Database on a USB storage drive connected to the same machine). I would like to have an option to choose DB1/DB2 during ERPNext launch.
Is it possible? How do I go about implementing it?
