I’ve deleted transactions and tried to change the default currency of a company but this does not in any way affect the Chart of accounts. Is it possible to do a new Chart of accounts with new currency as default.

You could use the Bulk Update Tool to change the currency or maybe create a new company with a new chart of accounts.

Thank you @walstanb. What I did was use import tool where I did accounts and customers set with new currency
