How to add custom field and edit fields in default print format for POS?

Currently, it is not possible to add the custom field in the POS print format, Although you can create the custom POS print format and render your custom field data on new Print Format instead.

I have created the custom POS print format but not able to make it default. So there is any other way to make it default?
