I am trying to implement ERPNext for my Business where I don’t want my BOM to be exposed to our competitors. To prevent that we don’t want the production department to know the correct names of raw materials and finished goods.
Our requirement is something like this:
Whenever an order for FG1 comes to us production should see it as FG_X in the work order.
The raw materials actually required for FG1 are RM1, RM2 but production should see them as RM_X, RM_Y.
Only administrators should not know this mapping between FG1 → FG_X, RM1->RM_X, RM2 → RM_Y.
I hope this is making sense.
