Got an SQL error when updating to 8.6.0

I got this error in bench update. Update did not finish and server not working because update was not completed.

_mysql_exceptions.OperationalError: (1054, “Unknown column ‘final_delivery_date’ in ‘field list’”)

Is there a fix for this?

just update and the update failed with the same above error
