Google Drive Backup

Hello everybody!

I know there is Dropbox integration function. I searched the forums and found some mentions of GoogleDrive backup option. Is it possible to set it up?

Let’s use Dropbox and Amazon S3 currently which is working fine and focus on major one like PDC cheque issue etc… :slightly_smiling_face:

Actually Dropbox is not even working for me. Since I dont have ssl. I tried manualy setting it up, but I still have a ssl error

SSLError: (“bad handshake: Error([(‘SSL routines’, ‘ssl3_get_server_certificate’, ‘certificate verify failed’)],)”,)

Since automatic backup is very important please use Amazon S3, there is no need https

But I want to use Google Drive, since there is no support, I’m willing to use my personal dropbox as backup. I’m not going to pay for another service just because it’s not working. I dont understand why you are commenting if you can’t give any useful advice.

There has to be a way to make it work.

Google Drive backup options are not available out of the box - that means the following options

  1. If you are a developer or employ a developer - use them to create the option
  2. Look at the ERPNext Paid Feature Development Option - https://erpnext.com/pricing/paid-feature-development
  3. Hire a service provider to develop it - if there is interest from the community, you could also partner with other users who want the same feature and share/split costs
  4. Create a github issue and see if there are others with the same requirement - popular issues get noticed
