Fetching Item Doctype field into sales invoice item field

I have created a custom field in ‘Item’ Doctype and want to fetch that field value in sales invoice item. how can i fetch that value? please Guide I am Stucked!

go to Sales Invoice Item Customisation form

Then select custom field then go to fetch from option:
item_code.custom_field_name_of_item_doctype

Then check it.
