Error message when attempt to import: Unknown file encoding. Tried utf-8, windows-1250, windows-1252

Hello,

I’m trying to import a .csv file but I get this error message: Unknown file encoding. Tried utf-8, windows-1250, windows-1252.

I didn’t have this problem until I upgraded my virtual machine.

Not likely its related to your update. Try and re-save your csv in utf8

Hi rmehta,

I had to open the csv file in text edit and save it as a utf8 there.

Unfortunately if you using MS Excel, thats the way to do it.
