Error in Bench update!

From the trace it seems that some data content is exceeding a limit. Do you have a backup? If so, you could reset the date, update, then restore the backup and would be at the recent version with your data…

Does the error occur as well on

$ bench migrate

Is it possible to find that data content exceeding a limit??..

you could comment out the line in the patches file to exclude this particular patch. Those are (normally) located here…

cat ~/frappe-bench/apps/erpnext/erpnext/patches.txt;

Have you tried it with the reset option?

bench update --reset

or

bench update --patch
