ERPNext Dev Image VM - This site can’t be reached

Please i need help with Development Image …

im using Oracle VM VirtualBox, i downloaded Development Image from the website and import it to VM,

but i have a problem when i try to access ERPNext User interface form the web browser using http://localhost:8000/

it show:
This site can’t be reached

The connection was reset.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

Did you check localhost:8000 localhost:80 localhost:8080
Its related to port forwarding

You can also login to virtual box and check erp running or not
https://erpnext.com/download?
Latest virtual image has ubuntu desktop.

Please note, for development image you need to start erpnext each type by running bench start.
So use production image if you want to host erpnext on your local server.

Try to get your local IP adress
/Win: cmd → ipconfig
Linux terminal → ifconfig/

Then try:

“your IP ADDRESS”:8000

LIKE:

192.168.1.100:8000

can i install VM on my Locally server and bridge LAN card ? … to run it on my clients laptops ? …

WIN Server 2012 R2 … i have only Domain Control on it …
