Currently my system is running on Frappe 6.x and ErpNext 6.X and I’d like upgrade system to the latest version.
- What will be challenges?
- Which step should I follow?
- Where should I emphasize to migrate system?
- What is the best approach?
Configure a basic v12 [with company currencies, CoA etc]
Export all master data, Map to V12 and re-import to v12.x. [Contact, Address, Supplier, Customer]
Map / Clean it [missing values, how to treat it].
Import it & verify.
Create Open balances and Open invoices.
Start using v12.
I would say it is not difficult but a nice challenge.
