i change the name series for employee setup and after i create employee still the same emp0005 another one emp0006 what i need i want to give every employee number after i add

Hi,
1.Go to “Naming Series”
2.Select Transaction as"Employee"
3.keep “Series List for this Transaction”= Emp-
4.click on “update”
5.Reload Employee form
and then Check.

What you exactly changed in naming series. If in Employee → setup → HR settings Naming Series is selected then employee saved by EMP0001 otherwise it saved by employee number.
