Employee leave balance report shows incorrect leave balance

Hello, I allocated 8 casual leaves to an employee for the period 01-04-2021 to 31-03-2022.

Then on 11-07-2021 I made an application for two days casual leave from 02-04-2021 to 03-04-2021.

Employee leave balance report shows incorrect leave balance, it shows
leaves allocated = 6
leaves approved/used = 2
balance leaves = 4 .

The leave allocated should be
leaves allocated = 8
leaves approved/used = 2
balance leaves = 6

Can anyone guide me?

Can anyone check this in their erpnext installation and confirm, so that I know if I have missed anything. Thank you.

I got the same problem.
Just to note, it is only the report that is calculating it incorrectly. When logged in from the employee’s id (Chirag, in your case), it will display the leave balances correctly.

Agree. Software is calculating it correctly but only represented wrong in this particular report.
