Thought it would be best to start a new thread for this, anyways as you all know i am having trouble getting email to work
I was having no luck using an external server so i decided to setup postfix on the erpnext machine and use localhost as the mail server.
However the email settings for localhost are proving to be difficult for me to get working as i get errors about not setting userid and password i also get errors about AUTH method TLS not supported by my server. Since i wish to use localhost as the email server for Erpnext i do not require login id or TLS.
Is there a simple way to get eprnext sending email using localhost
I have tested sending email to myself and postfix is working
