Default CSS overrides my customization

Hi Guys ,

I am on a development setup installed locally on a ubuntu 14.04 , I am on Erpnext v7 . I start the bench manually everytime using bench start . I customized the view by changing the files in /home/erp/frappe-bench/sites/assets/css

I was able to see all my customisation being reflected when I reload or say clear cache , if I quit the terminal and start the bench all my customizations are gone .

What should I do ? Could someone guide me .

@Muthu,

most of assets files (*.min.js & *.min.css) are replaced after each bench build command execution. If you want to make changes in css look for the .css file in ~/app/public/ directory and make the changes in those files instead of assests.

Thanks a lot for the continued support @makarand_b ,

I dont have any .css files in /app/public/ directory all the .css files which I should edit is present only in /home/erp/frappe-bench/sites/assets/css , this confuses me .

Any help ?

@Muthu check your apps folder, not sites.
