Customize Form search_fields Field Type: Table

Hey everyone,

I’d like to get your thoughts about giving child table search function from within search_fields.
For example item_code,item_group,item_name,description,barcodes.barcode I started looking into making such a feature but quickly realized it has the potential to possibly break other things.

What are your thoughts?

Did you find any solution to this case , i have an issue which is i add a childtable to Item doctype and need to use the values in it to search about the item in the sales invoice
